Dr Jeff Crisp, RSC Research Associate, has written a new article for Refugees Deeply on the difficulties faced in attaining the objectives of the Comprehensive Refugee Response Framework (CRRF) agreed in New York one year ago.

The four stated objectives of the CRRF were to: 1) Ease pressures on countries that host refugees; 2) Build refugees’ self-reliance; 3) Expand access to resettlement and other complementary pathways; and 4) Foster conditions for refugees to voluntarily return home. He addresses each of these objectives in turn.
