Jade Siu
Assistant Professor in Economics, University of Reading
Dr Jade Siu is an Assistant Professor in Economics at the University of Reading. Prior to this, she worked at the Refugee Studies Centre, examining the economic lives of refugees, as well as international development consultancies, leading projects commissioned by UN agencies.
Her current work examines the impact of social protection and humanitarian programmes on vulnerable groups, including forced migrants. In collaboration with international and local organisations, she is also undertaking research to understand formalisation decisions of workers and firms.
