Loaded with dynamite: self-determination in the Occupied Palestinian Territory

Dan is a doctoral researcher affiliated with the Refugee Studies Centre and the Law Faculty, supervised by Catherine Briddick. His research is focused on the concept of self-determination and its application to the Occupied Palestinian Territory. He has previously worked as a teacher in London, as well as in refugee camps in Greece and Lebanon.

As an undergraduate, he read Classics at Magdalen, before completing an MSc in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies at the Refugee Studies Centre (distinction). He has been the recipient of an AHRC Studentship and a Clarendon Scholarship. Outside academia, he has won a Boxing Blue and performed at the Edinburgh Festival with the Oxford Revue.
