Abdulmajid Chahrour
Director of Operations and Strategy
Abdulmajid leads the Refugee-Led Research Hub’s Operations and Strategy Pillar, overseeing human resources, financial management, operational systems, and institutional relationships. With several years’ experience in the non-profit sector spanning operations, programme design, and strategy, he specialises in education access for displaced communities.
He previously founded a scholarship programme in Malaysia that has supported over 80 displaced students to pursue fully funded undergraduate degrees. Abdulmajid holds two Master’s degrees in Impact Entrepreneurship and Sustainability Leadership, and brings both professional expertise and lived experience as a third-generation refugee.
