Dr Matthew Gibney comments on the deportation of Trenton Oldfield for ABC News

Convicted boat race protester Trenton Oldfield fights deportation from UK after visa denied

Trenton Oldfield disrupted last year's Oxford-Cambridge boat race in London when he swam out into the River Thames.

The annual contest, which pitches the rowing teams of the country's two most prestigious universities against each other, bills itself as one of the oldest sporting events in the world.
