About the speaker
Michelle Lokot is a Research Fellow at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine where she works on a research project focused on governance, participation and mental health in Lebanon. Prior to her PhD at SOAS, Michelle was a humanitarian practitioner working on gender equality and women's empowerment issues in for international NGOs. Her research interests are gender, forced migration and humanitarianism.
