Natasha J M Treunen

Programme Coordinator, Oxford Sanctuary Community

Natasha provides support to individuals at the University who have lived experience of displacement from pre-arrival, on-course, up to post-completion. She does this through programming and workshops aimed at pastoral, academic and professional support. She also serves as the dedicated scholarship programme coordinator for the Ukraine Graduate Scholars Programme and the University's Refugee Academic Futures Scholars Programme. She completed her MSc in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies in 2023. Prior to joining this role, she has worked in the non-profit sector focused on educational opportunities for children and young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds. She has also practiced as a teacher for young adults
