Felix is a PhD candidate in Political Theory at Central European University (CEU) in Budapest. His research interests lie in normative political philosophy concerning asylum and refugeehood, as well as just war theory and pacifism. His dissertation argues for a right to refugeehood understood as a right to be protected from oppression rather than persecution, employing theories of the co-originality between personal and public autonomy, human rights and popular sovereignty.
Felix holds a MSc in Political Theory from London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and studied Political Science, Sociology, Economics and Law at the University of Erfurt. He also was a visiting scholar at the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars in Washington DC and at the University of Tartu.
