Emeritus Professor Roger Zetter has been appointed by the Swiss Federal Commission on Migration to conduct a state of the art review of 'current and future protection needs and protection policies for forcibly displaced people'

From the perspective of governments in the global North, the study will analyse and assess the scope of national, international and intergovernmental initiatives and responses to current and future protection needs and challenges alongside recommendations to enhance protection policies. The study will be completed by mid-June 2014.
