Cynthia Orchard, co-author of the RSC Policy Briefing ‘Protection in Europe for Refugees from Syria’, was interviewed today on Canada’s CBC radio show 'The Current'. In a feature discussing a new UNHCR relocation plan for Syrian refugees, Cynthia spoke in favour of the proposed plan to relocate Syrian refugees in northern Europe, away from Greece and Italy. She also called on countries to do much more in terms of resettlement and humanitarian admission programmes.

Also speaking on the programme were Christopher Hein (Director, Italian Council for Refugees), William Spindler (UNHCR), and two Syrian refugees currently in Italy.
