About the speaker

Matthew Osborne is a PhD Scholar from the Australian National University. His research project looks at coordination and cooperation in response to the maritime movement of asylum seekers.

Matthew has previously completed a Master of Laws from the Australian National University; a Master of International Studies from the University of Sydney; a Master of Maritime Policy from the University of Wollongong; a Graduate Diploma in Military Law from the University of Melbourne; a Postgraduate Diploma in Social Science (Asian Government) from the University of Queensland; a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Australian National University; a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland.

Matthew is admitted as a Legal Practitioner in New South Wales and Queensland.
