About the speaker

Jeffrey Maslanik is currently a PhD Candidate at the Department of Politics and International Relations at Florida International University. Prior to the commencement of his doctoral studies, Mr Maslanik completed an MA in International Studies at Jagiellonian University, in Krakow Poland. During the 2015-16 academic year, he was a visiting research fellow at Lund University’s Department of Political Science, where he carried out his research on the labour market integration of refugees in Sweden. In addition to his current research on the labour market integration of refugees in Sweden, Mr Maslanik is also interested in forced migration and its impact on the EU more broadly.
