Prisca Benelli

Visiting Study Fellow

Prisca is a PhD Candidate at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, where she is focusing on Forced Migration and Human Security. She is currently working in Save the Children UK as Humanitarian Research and Learning Manager, and has previously worked in the humanitarian sector at field level in Afghanistan, Sudan, and Yemen. Prisca has also worked at Tufts and Harvard universities as a research and teaching fellow.

In her doctoral work she examines the emergence of a discourse around the idea of humanitarian ‘evidence’ and research on one hand, and ‘innovation’ on the other. She is interested in the selective use of these labels to describe specific facets of humanitarian action.
