This launch event will be held both in person in Oxford and online via Zoom. Presenters from the RSC and the British Institute in Eastern Africa (BIEA) will introduce a joint initiative: the Refugee-Led Research Hub (RLRH). The RLRH has a physical base in Nairobi at the BIEA. It provides academic and professional training to displaced learners to advance an agenda for refugee-led research in the field of Refugee and Forced Migration Studies. The RLRH has 42 affiliated members and is predominantly staffed by scholars affected by forced displacement.

Join this event to learn more about the RSC & BIEA partnership and the activities planned for the coming year. The leadership of RLRH and affiliated members will be present to help answer questions and share their experiences, aspirations, and opportunities for collaboration.

The launch will take place on November 25th from 12–1pm GMT / 3–4pm EAT.
