About the speaker

Nina Hall is a lecturer in global governance at the Hertie School of Governance. She researches on transnational advocacy, global refugee and migration governance, and climate change adaptation. Her book Displacement, Development and Climate Change, International Organizations Moving Beyond their Mandates was published by Routledge in 2016. She has a PhD in International Relations from the University of Oxford and is now collaborating with a global network of digital activists. She has previously worked with the World Economic Forum and the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and holds a Master's Degree from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. She has published in Global Environmental Politics, Global Governance, and the Guardian.

Annual Harrell-Bond Lecture

The Annual Harrell-Bond Lecture is named in honour of Dr Barbara Harrell-Bond, the founding Director of the Refugee Studies Centre. It is held each year in Michaelmas term.

Annual Elizabeth Colson Lecture

The Annual Elizabeth Colson Lecture is held in Trinity term. It is named after Professor Elizabeth Colson, a renowned anthropologist.
