RSC Deputy Director honoured in University's Recognition of Distinction Exercise

We are delighted to announce that Matthew Gibney has been awarded the title of professor in this year's Recognition of Distinction exercise.

Gibney, who is the Deputy Director of the Refugee Studies Centre, is now the Elizabeth Colson Professor of Politics and Forced Migration. He was previously Associate Professor of Politics and Forced Migration. 

Professor Gibney specialises in the political and ethical issues raised by refugees, citizenship and migration control. Born in Melbourne, Australia, he was educated at Monash University and, as a Commonwealth Scholar, at King's College, University of Cambridge.
