Bahati is the Student Affairs Manager at the RLRH, where she is responsible for coordinating academic and pastoral activities for all learners and managing recruitment processes. Bahati is also a member of the Global Task Force on Refugee Mobility and is consulting with Refuge-Point on their Economic Mobility Project.

Prior to joining RLRH, she served for one year as a UNV with the UNHCR branch office in Nairobi as the Youth Activities Coordinator, creating and managing projects relating to refugee youth. She also worked at Kenyatta National Hospital and contributed to the Covid 19 response. Bahati has a BSc in Nursing from Moi University in Eldoret, Kenya. She is an alumni of the DAFI scholarship programme. Bahati is a former refugee who is interested in migration studies, global health, migration law, history and sociology. She is also interested in collecting new skills, and is currently exploring sewing and dressmaking.
