Ian McClelland

Bio

Ian joined the Refugee Studies Centre in 2011 and is responsible for managing and coordinating communications and information dissemination.

This work covers three interrelated areas of activity: developing and implementing the Centre's communications and information strategy and functions; management and development of RSC's web presence; and editorial work on RSC publications.

Prior to joining the Refugee Studies Centre, Ian gained experience in website management, copywriting and editing, digital marketing, social media and events, whilst working for Oxfam GB and Oxfam International. He has also spent time as a researcher at the World Health Organization.

Ian holds a BSc in Disaster Management and Technology from the University of Birmingham and an MSc in Globalisation and Development from the University of Manchester.
