(Please note: sponsorship administered by the RSC is allocated according to the funders' criteria, and is usually linked to certain countries or regions. Current funding is restricted to nationals of developing countries. We advise applicants to look for funding as widely as possible, as we always receive many more applications for sponsorship than we are able to accept.)

All courses at the Summer School are conducted in English. Course participants need to have sufficient command of the English language to be able to participate fully. As a guide, foreign-language English speakers should be able to obtain a score of 7.00 in ELTS/IELTS or 570 in TOEFL.

Closing date for RSC-administered sponsored place: 1 March 2012
Closing date for early-bird (reduced fee) applications: 15 March 2012
Closing date for receipt of early-bird course fees: 31 March 2012
Closing date for all applications: 1 May 2012
Closing date for receipt of all course fees: 15 May 2012

Please note: a non-refundable deposit of £150 is required to confirm acceptance of a self-/employer funded offer of place. Places cannot be guaranteed after 15 May without full payment of course fees.

In the event of cancellation by the participant, the following terms apply: cancellations received after the closing date but before June - 10% of the course fee is non-refundable. Cancellations received June - 50% of the course fee is non-refundable. Data will be stored in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1984 and used for internal purposes only.
