This event consisted of two workshops which in turn are past of a broader series which is bringing together legal experts from different backgrounds to look at key issues in refugee protection. The series aimed to breach the gaps between different legal approaches and contribute towards the development of a functional analytical framework for the study of protection issues. Issues addressed on the 24 April included institutional challenges and current difficulties in accessing protection.
